Description:
In Coma Berenices, just at the east of the Coma cluster, at the end of the point formed by the most brilliant stars of this cluster. Dimensions of NGC 4494 are rather small, visible with difficulty with averted vision. The galaxy takes the appearance of a very small spot slightly luminous. No other visible details.
