Description:
A round, to slightly oval, nebulous patch of uniform appearance.  There is
gradual brightening to a fairly bright, diffuse core.  Located with averted
vision at 77x.  Best seen at 128x.
NOTE: Uranometria 2000.0 plots 5 additional galaxies inside of a 45' field
centered on NGC 1199.  These average 14th magnitude and none could be located.
