I could not resist when I saw this compact pair of binocs on sale at the local 
Target for $5.95! Tonight, even though the sky was partly covered with moving 
clouds, I tired them out briefly, to see how usable they were for astronomy. The 
double part (main pair) was easily split with this instrument, even though this 
was not a very good night for viewing.
