Description:
This object was observed on a night when M31 was easily found with the naked 
eye. Using the 40mm eyepiece, a very bright central core surrounded by a faint
was was visible. Going to a 20mm wide angle eyepiece started to reveal some
structure of the galaxy. The hazy cloud was clearly elongated filling the entire
field of view.
