Fills about 3/4 degree field. I counted 28 brighter stars and many faint ones.
Several of the stars are in distinct pairs, including O sigma 44 near the center.
Literature refers to this as a naked-eye object in good skies, but no chance of
this around here. But readily visible in binocs as well as the scope.
