Object: M38
Constellation: Auriga
Object data: Open cluster
Like M37, this star cluster, M38, is star-like in apperance, and approximately
1 degree large. There is also another very odd similarity, a reddish
star smack dab in the middle of the cluster, but unlike M37, it is slight
dimmer than the others. This cluster, however, was far less dense
than M37.
Note.. there was a thin cloud cover at the time of observation
