Ha!! I should have looked at your Image
first Steve!! it shows far more clearly the relative brightness of the Galaxy
than the S&T image, nice one!

I double chcked the image and sone of a gun if IC 1296
wasn't on it.

point source, is dimmer than a 15th magnitude star.
