(IAAC) Humanson 1-2

At 07:02 UT on Monday morning I observed Humason 1-2 (PN G086.5-08.8), a
small (8.3") planetary nebula located some 3 degrees east of Sigma
Cygni. I used magnifications of 118 (to locate the proper field), 249
(with an O-III filter), and 259x (with and without an Orion Ultrablock
filter) to view this somewhat elusive 12.7 magnitude object. Hu 1-2 is
one of the obscure planetary nebulae featured in Jay McNeil's August
1999 Sky & Telescope article.
