After much frustration in being unable to see M13 due to lack of contrast
under urban skies, was surprised to have Ring Nebula virtually present
itself while star hopping. Lovely, irregular smoke ring with dark center
apparent even at 90x, it maintained full contrast and presence even with
  seldom-used 8mm Plossl.
